The position oversees global capabilities, drives innovation in trial design and execution, and maintains inspection readiness.
Operating in a highly matrixed, global environment, the leader influences senior stakeholders and external partners. Responsibilities include accelerating development timelines, optimizing investment, and enhancing trial performance. Close partnerships span Clinical Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Program Management, and Commercial teams.

Requirements
- Proven enterprise-level leadership in global clinical operations for dermatology or aesthetics portfolios
- Deep expertise in executing multi-regional clinical trials across all phases of development
- Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and inspection processes (FDA, EMA, PMDA)
- Experience optimizing clinical trial performance through innovation in design and data-driven decisions
- Track record managing CROs, vendors, and outsourcing strategies in a matrixed environment
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners to accelerate timelines
- Familiarity with risk-based quality management, centralized monitoring, and AI-driven analytics in trials
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the global clinical operations strategy aligned with portfolio priorities and corporate objectives
- Oversee end-to-end execution of global, multi-regional clinical trials across early- and late-stage development
- Establish governance frameworks, operational standards, and performance metrics to drive consistency and quality
- Provide strategic input into portfolio planning, trial feasibility, and investment decisions
- Ensure inspection readiness and lead responses to global health authority inspections and audits (e.g., FDA, EMA, PMDA)
- Serve as Clinical Operations representative in R&D leadership forums and contribute to enterprise decision-making
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Clinical Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial to align strategies
- Drive continuous improvement through risk-based quality management, centralized monitoring, and advanced technologies
