The Data Science Analytics & Insights team creates innovative solutions using diverse data sources across disease areas including oncology, cardiovascular, immunology, neuroscience and infectious disease. We seek a highly motivated Senior Principal Scientist at the intersection of AI/ML and life sciences.

This role advances AI/ML for Drug Discovery and Development, with primary locations in Spring House PA, New Brunswick NJ and Titusville NJ. The position involves conceiving and deploying AI/ML models for multimodal biology, molecular property prediction, drug safety, generative molecule design and AI-driven experimental design. Hands-on coding contributes to platform development.

Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams of AI/ML scientists, imaging experts, structural biologists and computational chemists to design computational approaches and interpret results. Manage and mentor junior scientists while leading project initiation and execution. Participate in collaborations with external companies, academia and internal teams.

Communicate technical methods and results through internal presentations, peer-reviewed publications and scientific conferences to drive decision-making. Requirements

  • Expertise in AI/ML applications for drug discovery and development including multimodal biology and molecular property prediction
  • Experience designing computational approaches for life sciences data analysis
  • Proficiency in hands-on coding for AI/ML platform development
  • Ability to interpret complex results from structural biology and imaging data
  • Track record collaborating with computational chemists and cross-disciplinary teams
  • Skills in generative molecule design and AI-driven experimental planning
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing scientists and projects in data sciences

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for multimodal biology, molecular property prediction, drug safety, generative molecule design, and AI-driven experimental design
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary team of AI/ML scientists, imaging experts, structural biologists, and computational chemists to design and implement computational approaches, analyze results, and communicate findings
