About this role
Galderma is the emerging pure-play dermatology leader with a unique heritage and decades of innovation, present in 90 countries. The Formulation Scientist identifies active ingredients and key structures to develop products on different platforms for global markets. Products must conform to Galderma standards for stability and safety throughout shelf life.
Launch and supervise the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle with a multifunctional team. Guarantee continuous availability with optimal quality, on time, and at lowest cost. Possess understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes to enable efficient scale-up of developed products.
Perform hands-on laboratory activities while respecting Galderma quality, safety, and work standards. Act as product development contact for projects as needed. Contribute to Consumer GBU projects and support other Formulation group members on critical initiatives.

Requirements
- Ability to identify active ingredients and key structures for dermatology product platforms
- Knowledge of stability and safety standards throughout product shelf life
- Understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes for efficient scale-up
- Hands-on experience with laboratory formulation activities
- Proficiency in developing formulas for injectables, dermo-cosmetics, and therapeutic dermatology
- Capability to manage multifunctional team collaborations for product lifecycle
- Familiarity with global regulatory standards for dermatological products
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and propose high-performing ingredients, formula chassis, and innovation opportunities for each developed formula
- Perform hands-on laboratory activities and respect Galderma's quality, safety, and work standards
- Act as product development contact for the project as needed
- Contribute to Consumer GBU projects and collaborate to support other Formulation group members on critical projects requiring additional support
- Develop strong and collaborative relationships with other departments and groups
- Maintain scientific vigilance on ingredients and formulation trends
- Oversee product portfolio lifecycle ensuring stability, safety, and scale-up
- Ensure products meet global market compliance for dermatology applications
