About this role
The School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, established in 2002, advances excellence in biological and biomedical sciences. Research spans infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative disorders, telomere biology, and genome function. Join the laboratory of Associate Professor Koh Cheng Gee as a Senior Research Fellow on novel DNA Damage Response (DDR) therapeutics.
Develop strategies and conduct experiments to diversify lead molecules into second-generation compounds with improved therapeutic window and solubility for the DDR therapeutics program. Discover lead small molecules for DDR therapy from Singapore medicinal plants. Develop synthetic routes for lead small molecules identified from these plants.
SBS hosts a vibrant, international community of scientific leaders, researchers, and professionals dedicated to innovation, discovery, and education. The College of Science seeks a diverse and inclusive workforce committed to equality of opportunity. Recruitment occurs on the basis of merit regardless of age, race, gender, religion, marital status, family responsibilities, or disability.
