About this role

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform under The University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine. It manages international-standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices, and technologies. HKU-CTC offers long-term development to talents devoted to clinical trial careers.

HKU-CTC’s Phase 1 Clinical Trials Unit at Queen Mary Hospital conducts phase 1 and early phase trials. The role involves clinical trial coordination and operations, including planning and managing studies. Comprehensive on-job training is provided, and fresh graduates are welcome.

Daily tasks include developing and maintaining clinical studies databases using AnjuEPS eSource solution. Execute study procedures, data collection, document management, facilities, and quality management. Communicate with research teams and internal/external collaborators.

The appointment is a 1-year temporary basis with renewal possibility based on performance. Occasional work outside normal business days or hours may be required. Join a professional facility promoting healthcare advancement through clinical research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological, Medical, Life Sciences or equivalent
  • Some experience in clinical research and basic knowledge in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) preferred
  • Good coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to quality and compliance
  • Detail-minded, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and self-motivated
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
