About this role
We are seeking a Senior Formulation Scientist to join our dynamic R&D team, where you’ll play a key role in developing innovative pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products. In this hands-on role, you’ll design formulations, support process improvements, and contribute directly to product development from concept to commercialization. This position offers exposure to oral solid dosage forms.
You’ll design and develop formulations for oral solid dosage forms across nutraceutical, OTC, and prescription products. Operate formulation equipment like blenders, high shear granulators, fluid bed dryers, and tablet presses. Manage multiple projects while providing process improvement support and troubleshooting production issues.
Partner with R&D, production, and regulatory teams in a collaborative environment. Contribute to problem-solving and process improvements on diverse formulation projects. Enjoy end-to-end impact, taking ideas from early development through regulatory submission and commercialization.

Requirements
- MS required; Ph.D. preferred
- Minimum 5 years of formulation experience in pharmaceutical and/or nutraceutical product development
- Hands-on experience with formulation equipment such as blenders, fluid bed dryers, high shear granulators, and tablet presses
- Knowledge of cGMPs, US FDA, and EU/EMEA regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with Quality System standards, ICH guidelines, USP, and EP requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot formulation or process issues and recommend practical solutions
- Strong project management skills to prioritize and manage multiple development projects
- Effective oral and written communication to collaborate with R&D, production, and regulatory teams
Responsibilities

- Write protocols, Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs), and product development reports
