About this role
Galderma is the emerging leader dedicated entirely to dermatology, present in about 90 countries with an innovative science-based portfolio covering injectables, dermo-cosmetics, and therapeutic dermatology. The Formulation Scientist identifies active ingredients and key structures to develop products on various platforms for global markets. Products must conform to Galderma standards for stability and safety throughout shelf life.
Launch and supervise the product portfolio successfully throughout its lifecycle, working with a multifunctional team to ensure continuous availability with optimal quality, on time, and at lowest cost. Possess understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes to enable efficient scale-up of developed products. Perform hands-on lab activities while respecting quality, safety, and Galderma work standards.
Act as product development contact for projects as needed and contribute to Consumer GBU projects. Collaborate to support other Formulation group members on critical projects requiring additional help. Develop strong collaborative relationships with other departments and groups.

Requirements
- Ability to identify active ingredients and key structures for product development
- Knowledge of cosmetic manufacturing processes for scale-up
- Proficiency in hands-on laboratory formulation activities
- Understanding of stability and safety requirements for shelf life
- Experience ensuring product quality and compliance in dermatology formulations
- Skill in managing product lifecycle from development to availability
- Capacity to propose innovation opportunities in formulas
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and propose high-performing ingredients, formula chassis, and innovation opportunities for each developed formula
- Perform hands-on laboratory activities and adhere to Galderma's quality, safety, and work standards
- Act as product development contact for the project as needed
