Join AstraZeneca's Drug Discovery Platform within the R&D IT department as a Senior Manager. This pivotal role ensures sophisticated and timely delivery of user demands and long-term servicing of various COTS applications. Collaborate closely with the Platform Lead, Technical Lead, Scrum Master, and DevOps team to drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsible for end-to-end delivery of backlog items and service requests for COTS applications. Plan and execute tasks within committed timelines while assisting the Scrum Master in coordinating sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups. Prepare status reports to support seamless platform integration and operation.

Work in a collaborative environment that puts unexpected teams together to unleash bold thinking for life-changing medicines. Expect a minimum of three days per week in the office, balanced with individual flexibility. Partner across functions and external collaborators in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

15+ years of hands-on experience with COTS applications like LIMS, vendors and SaaS solutions
High-level end-to-end understanding of application design, construction, testing, deployment, and delivery
Full ownership of DevOps discipline and responsibility for managing application, server, and infrastructure issues
Effective understanding of Architecture and Integration technologies
Multi-vendor and multi-platform experience
Implement and enforce best practices and coding standards of the platform
Excellent communication and facilitation skills to work with others and achieve objectives
Experience working with global teams and guiding them through technical issues

Responsibilities
