Day-to-day involves setting up local organized data collection, conducting literature searches, and handling ICSR collection and management. Perform PV intelligence screening, local signal detection, and adaptation of PSUR/RMP for submission. Review materials for post-authorization safety studies and implement risk minimization measures.
Work in close cooperation with the global PV system, local departments, deputy, EU-QPPV, and Competent Authority. Act as official liaison for pharmacovigilance matters with 24/7 availability. Participate in audits, inspections, regular project meetings, and provide monthly PV status reports.
Ensure PV training for affiliate employees, service providers, and third parties. Issue, review, and maintain local pharmacovigilance procedures aligned with client standards. Notify authorities of safety concerns, coordinate safety communications, and maintain system compliance with national laws.
Requirements
- Several years’ experience and profound knowledge in the field of pharmacovigilance
- Expertise, experience and knowledge regarding relevant legislative and non-legislative guidelines on pharmacovigilance
- Demonstrable ability in leading, mentoring, managing and motivating staff
- Task and project management skills to train junior colleagues and lead small projects
- Ability to manage internal and external relationships on operational level
- Good communication and presentation skills to propose solutions to decision makers
- English business fluent
Responsibilities
