About this role
As a Lead Biologist, you will join our early drug discovery and translational sciences team based in Belgium. The team supports early-stage drug discovery programs focused on small molecules with emphasis on disease biology and translational strategies. You will design and coordinate in vitro and in vivo studies with external biology service providers and academic partners.
You will collaborate closely with the Lead Chemist, Project Leader and Project Manager. Responsibilities include integrating and interpreting biological data to contribute to decision-making. You will present insights to internal stakeholders on pharmacology, biomarkers, ADME-DMPK and safety datasets.
Lead biology activities within multi-disciplinary project teams while efficiently outsourcing biology work to CROs. Contribute to CRO selection, contract setup including milestones and budgets with the Research Project Manager. Monitor execution and reporting of experiments with strong input into technical aspects and design.
