The Data Science Analytics & Insights team creates innovative solutions using diverse data sources in multiple disease areas. We seek a highly motivated Senior Principal Scientist at the intersection of AI/ML and life sciences.

This role advances AI/ML for drug discovery and development, primarily in USA locations like Spring House PA and New Brunswick NJ. Key work involves conceiving, developing, and deploying AI/ML models for multimodal biology, molecular property prediction, drug safety, generative molecule design, and AI-driven experimental design. Daily efforts focus on innovative computational approaches to transform healthcare.

Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including AI/ML scientists, imaging experts, structural biologists, and computational chemists. Analyze and interpret results, then communicate findings through internal presentations, conferences, and publications. Lead project initiation, execution, management, and mentoring of junior scientists. Requirements

  • Expertise in AI/ML model development for drug discovery applications including multimodal biology and molecular property prediction
  • Experience with generative molecule design and AI-driven experimental design
  • Knowledge of ML applications in drug safety prediction
  • Proficiency in designing computational approaches for life sciences data analysis
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in AI/ML, imaging, structural biology, and computational chemistry
  • Leadership skills in project management and mentoring scientists
  • Strong skills in interpreting complex biological and chemical data through AI/ML

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for multimodal biology, molecular property prediction, drug safety, generative molecule design, and AI-driven experimental design
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary team of AI/ML scientists, imaging experts, structural biologists, and computational chemists to design and implement computational approaches
  • Analyze and interpret results and communicate findings through internal presentations, conferences, and scientific publications
  • Manage and mentor junior scientists
  • Lead and manage project initiation and execution
  • Participate in cross-functional collaborations to advance drug discovery and development
  • Develop innovative solutions using data sources across oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and infectious disease areas
